This jaw-dropping example has covered a mere 4,600 miles from new and has had just two former keepers with our vendor having the car since July last year and only looking to move it on due to problems with personal mobility. Originally supplied by Porsche Centre Aberdeen who took care of the first service in December 2017 at 1,412 miles with the next service being completed by Porsche Centre Solihull in August of this year at 4,553 miles all receipted for £1,399 At the same time the car had a full health check and passed with flying colours.

Finished in Carrara (not Carrera) White with a Black interior, this fabulous 981 Spyder comes with a full Porsche presentation pack including Service Book, Owners Handbook, Communication Management Book and a Radio Equipment reference leaflet. Being the later Spyder, it has the improved convertible top which takes but a very short while to drop down as opposed to the original jigsaw puzzle of the earlier cars. With the 981 benefitting from the 911's 6-cylinder powerplant, performance is on a whole different level making it a true drivers' car capable of speeds up to 180 mph. This may be one of the best examples available on offer currently and with just 4,600 miles from new, very collectable.

I was the 1st owner, think I got 69k for it from my OPC a few years ago.

Now replaced with a 987 Spyder - my 2nd one.

2 owners and still under 300 miles to date £92500.00

Very nice and welcome to the community

Look forward to seeing more pics and full spec please [8D]

Thanks for compliments.

I did see the 964, but didn't pay to much attention to it.

I'll post full spec soon.

Are you moving from 987 to 718? If so, I’d be very interested to hear how you rate the experience in due course.

Sort of, I had the 987 for about 18 months, thought it was a keeper. However the opportunity of a 981 GT4 came up and went for that. I had that for 3 years, and however great the GT4 was I always missed the roof off.

One of the reasons I went for the 718, as its a GT4 Spyder , the best of both worlds.

After my PEC experience, first impressions were it felt just like the 981. More time is needed in the car.

This one will always be special as I suspect it will be the only chance i have of buying and configuring a car to my spec.

As Requested please see attached a copy of my spec sheet.

Pick up is confirmed for Thursday, but it will be going straight on a transporter to take to my detailer. So ill have another week or so before I get to drive it.

Thanks for the reply. Let us know your thoughts when you’ve had chance to drive it a bit. My 987 is a really sweet little thing, however the 718 is a temptation. I’m just not sure whether the 718 will be a “bit too much” for road use and touring though.

Thanks for your reply. If you or anyone else are at Reading can you take a photo and or let me know the Reg. No for the Register i run. Ideally i would like to get in touch with the owner.
