Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

£35k to £60k depending on miles condition and spec. Comfort, PDK with Turbo wheels , peeling lacquer, no PSE and 60k miles, vs Buckets, Spyder wheels, PSE , Manual, minter with 10k miles. Quite a few ropey cars out there. Very few nice cars.

Now for something different [8D]

Anyone sold a 987 Spyder recently ? Hard to figure out where the market is for these!

Now Reserved:- [link=https://www.ashgood.co.uk/vehicle-details/Porsche-Boxster-U3092]https://www.ashgood.co.uk.../Porsche-Boxster-U3092[/link]

That was fast! Looked like a nice car though.

The one I’m seeing tomorrow is a manual in black with buckets and Spyder wheels. No A/C or Navigation though. 8k miles and two

owners (current since 2010).

Good luck

No air con & Nav wouldn't bother me as never used air con once on my 3 Spyders from 2010-2022 but my Spyders were all dry weekend toys not daily drivers so horses for courses

you won't be using a sat nav in a 987 even if you had it, it's too out of date. Mine has no AC or PCM, if I go out on my own no issue, if the OH comes I take a blue tooth speaker which works great. Sat nav I use waze on a Quadlock screen mount on an iphone if needed. more to show speed cameras though not the route.

Thanks both. So I bought the car on Friday. It’s in lovely condition, 7.8k miles, only two owners but most recent chap owned since 2010.

Options:

[ul][*]Cruise[*]Sound Package Plus[*]Sport Chrono Package[*]CD-Radio Audio System CDR-30[*]Universal Audio Interface[*]Auto Dimming Interior + Exterior Mirrors[/ul]Not a tonne of options but it has the important buckets and spyder wheels!

Lovely drive back home, it’s a lovely example of a great model.

Things I may consider doing:

- short shift

- fruitier exhaust (prefer OEM rather than after-market)

- need to find a way to stream audio, may consider PCCM+ when it comes out

For now, will just enjoy driving it!

Thought my car was a garage queen with under 14k miles and had it since March 2013 bought with 1450 miles on it

Enjoy your Spyder you already know how good they are.

"Stripped for action" taken to an extreme even side stripes have removed in the need for speed:ROFLMAO:

The extras (or removals) on this car are focussed on being lightweight. It has lightweight, carbon back bucket seats, manual transmission and comes without climate control (air conditioning)! It does have rear parkings and a Porsche Sports Exhaust (PSE)One of the previous keepers removed the PCM (Radio) unit and replaced it with the storage unit. This really is dedication to the cause! The PCM unit comes with the car, so that the new owner can decide whether to refit or not. We assume that the door speakers and dash speakers are still present, but these have not been checked. The most recent keeper has added to this lightweight obsession. He has replaced the wheel bolts with Titanium parts. The battery has also been replaced with an Anti-gravity battery. He also refurbished the wheels using renowned Xcel Wheels. All tyres were renewed with the correct N rated Michelin pilot sport tyres at the same time. These still look new. Quite recently, the car was detailed and ceramic coated and this is still evident when the car is washed. Porsche part exchanges welcomeThe service history is good. A period in storage meant the car wasn't serviced in 2014. It wasn't MOT'd in 2014, 2015 and 2016 either. The services have been carried out initially by OPC Nottingham in 2012, 2017 and 2019. In 2021 OPC tonbridge carried out a health check and oil service. We carried out the major service 2021 Full service history, White, £47,995
