Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

Interesting specification - Weissach Package and 18-way seats. Not for the purists, but I don't hate it. In general, an SRS with 18-way seats would be very cool in an 'unordinary' way.

Does the Weissach Package reduce the weight at all on the SRS or is just an optics package? As far as I'm aware, the hood is made of carbon fibre anyway, no?

I think buckets have had their day in these cars. Most want 18ways now.
If I buy another it would be 18ways and PDK to get the shorter gearing and heated seats.

SRS WP same weight, 4RS WP is lighter weight due to the Ti cage. You might save a few gramms on the ti tips lol. Of course you can only spec Mag wheels if you spec WP and that is a 10kg saving, and PCCB is a saving.
I would not want WP on the SRS looks a bit fussy. And just buy some WP style tips for it. 4RS suits WP more imho ie race car carbon hood, and you get to see the engine cover etc which is all hidden in the SRS.

Will we see 983 Spyder with 4.0l engine sometime after EV launches and bombs
That would be wonderful! Means I might be able to order a new Spyder in my life! I wouldn't mind a plug-in hybrid Spyder either, so long as it follows a similar ethos of focussing on being lightweight (that would be an interesting challenge).
