ORIGINAL: flat6 For those who like the look of the Spyder and nothing more. The 986 looks cool with the stripes and white paint too[]

It was more an tongue-in-cheek comment that the Spyder look lifts any car, but only works with white[ORIGINAL: rob.kellock Mmm not so sure. It needs the stripe continuing to the rear wheel like a Spyder and losing the Cayman R extension on the front bumper. The way its done just messes with the lines.

Yeah, me and flat 6 got a pair made up like the launch car that just say "S GO 2156". We can drive with impunity and the Porsche press office get all the tickets [ORIGINAL: kitchens Going to get a couple of show plates made up with just the SPYDER script logo on them

I located the Porsche side stripe for a friends Boxster S on fleebay for about £30.00 which is far more sensible pricing than the whopping £500 plus from your local Porsche centres parts bin It's not as if Porsche actually make side stripes anyway [&o] [link=http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-boxster-side-stripe-decals-stickers-2-off-choice-of-design-/181137479040?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a2ca29580]http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-boxster-side-stripe-decals-stickers-2-off-choice-of-design-/181137479040?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a2ca29580[/link]ORIGINAL: kitchens Have to say i like the Black Logo .If i where to go Porsche delete i would seriously contemplate getting all the silver and black bits done red It makes the car look so much sleeker looking imo .The Porsche script cost a whopping £500 to replace one of the guys in the Tipec club got a similar one for £50 by a company on Ebay good quality vinyl looks good . Porsche will charge a value 'in line' with the exclusivity they want to preserve. If they charged £50 instead of £500 lot's of people would be spec'ing them on their car even if it wasn't an option, by just getting their OPC to deliver and fit them after the car is shipped. They cannot of course control the after-market. Standard Tequipment decals that are available for any car, like the Cayman S decals I got them to put on, are between £250 & £300, fitted, if I recall correctly.ORIGINAL: daro911I located the Porsche side stripe for a friends Boxster S on fleebay for about £30.00 which is far more sensible pricing than the whopping £500 plus from your local Porsche centres parts bin  It's not as if Porsche actually make side stripes anyway [&o]  [link=http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-boxster-side-stripe-decals-stickers-2-off-choice-of-design-/181137479040?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a2ca29580]http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-boxster-side-stripe-decals-stickers-2-off-choice-of-design-/181137479040?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a2ca29580[/link]ORIGINAL: kitchens Have to say i like the Black Logo .If i where to go Porsche delete i would seriously contemplate getting all the silver and black bits done red It makes the car look so much sleeker looking imo .The Porsche script cost a whopping £500 to replace one of the guys in the Tipec club got a similar one for £50 by a company on Ebay good quality vinyl looks good . And that car has sports seats in combination with it's racy looking steering wheel[&:]ORIGINAL: MrDemon Looks very nice in Platinum SilverI so want to fit this to mine My Cayman R has the sports design wheel and it's very nice vs the stock one. I think the GT3 RS 4.0 wheel would look great in a Spyder.

Royal Steering wheels have quoted me £135 plus postage for just that trim, done on top of original leather but not reversible. Comes out thicker and would always need retriming afterwards which put me off slightly. The fact I have only just had a new wheel due to pdk window breakdown is also a factor.ORIGINAL: MrDemon Looks very nice in Platinum SilverI so want to fit this to mine My Cayman R has the sports design wheel and it's very nice vs the stock one. Very hard to call this without seeing cars in the flesh. I think if the Red all over had the front vents and side ducts colour coded and the correct spyder Csilver wheels it would take some beating! However, if I was going Full colour coded route I would be looking for. Black Car - colour coded black front and side ducts. Black wheels (coloured centres) Delete Porsche and just leave Spyder on rear. I would be quite happy to have black or red black interior. I reckon that car would looks the DB's[ORIGINAL: daro911 Talking of stripes one for the Red Boys to debate Red / Silver Red / Black or Red All Over![]()

Here it is alive and well and looking for a new owner [ORIGINAL: jdpef356 Also a quick look and I can no longer find the 'Bought as a Gift' White car with under 2K on the clock?
Mine is a daily driver too. I don't find it any inconvenience at all. It's not too low for speed bumps, the ride is just fine and the firm suspension is only shown up by pot holes and cobbles (oh and fast cornerning shows off the suspension too [8D] )ORIGINAL: VvrooomM Daily driver for a grand today of approx 4k per year.

Brian...you are naughty ..but ..[ORIGINAL: kitchens Picture no 1 get my vote more in keeping with the design off our cars . .........she too has two nice bumps[]
