Sorry I never got over there yesterday Brian but had family commitments to comply with, it would have made a good picture with two Spyders there, not been out in mine since the day at Morgan in Perth, hope to get it out as soon as this rain stops Kenny Spyder

Thanks Andy. Mines a 2010 Spyder and the wheels apparently were designed for the 987. I'm not sure of the offsets but will that make much difference?

It can do to the handling and turn in. The Spyder offsets are ET55 front and ET42 rear. A standard boxster 987 19" wheel is usually ET57 front and ET 46 rear. This will give you a track difference of -8mm front, and -10mm rear to the standard track. HTH Andy

I bought a set of RS60 Spyder wheels from a guy a few years back for my Boxster 987. He sold them because he'd bought a set of Spyder wheels from this type of a Spyder and fitted them to his RS60. They fitted fine.

The only thing I would say is these ebay wheels are not std 987 wheels they are after market so the offsets could be anything really

Just realised that a missing "ing quick" completely changed what I meant[:D] The 918 is anything but light! But why hasn't Mclaren published a ring time yet?

ORIGINAL: daro911 Checkout this Spyder video .... Imagine having a short shifter to work too![:D] http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=29071
Amazing that the car is so lighting quick that driver aids are welcomed even with all the weight holding it down. The 918 Spyder hasn't added any more flamboyance beyond the Carrera GT's looks (IMO [;)] ) but looks as purposeful as it no doubt has proven to be. If the McLaren and Ferrari don't go much much faster (being lighter and more powerful) they will still have red faces.

You meant an "Ening" not an "Ing" [:D]
