Well I took the Spyder out of storage yesterday and spent the day today with my son doing a full detail. Lots of Gtechniq polishes and sealants as well as the usual mix of Meguirs and Autoglym products.
Car goes back into storage on Monday until the sun comes out! We only built the house recently so now that's finished we've now put in for planning for a nice 3 bay garage.
Well that was a profound review!! Detailed car looks great. Just needs the alcantara on the seats vaccing tidily! I like to keep the seats unidirectional but stripes on the carpet... ... I'll get my coat on the way out []

]You're dead right. They should also learn about how to create a family of products that they don't worry about overlapping. Actually, their products don't overlap, only Porsche thinks they do. The Boxster & Cayman could easily attack the performance of Ferrari's lower end cars like the California. Porsche has tarnished a bit its sports car brand in my eyes. Because they won't price a top end Boxster / Cayman over a certain level, I can get 400HP+ in a Macan, Panamera or Cayenne but not in their mid-engined sports car? Other Marques like Jag and Aston have a range of sports cars that are not strictly hierarchical like the Boxster/Cayman vs 911.
It is complete and utter madness and also shows a lack of faith perhaps in the appeal of a very powerful 981 model v a more expensive base Carrera Porsche must know by now that there are people who aspire to own a 911 base model over the "upstarts" in the range because in these people's eyes Porsche can only mean one thing i.e. 911 and nothing else on their CV will do[

I have one if those hand held Dyson vacs and the attachment that comes with it does the stripe effect to a certain level. I think the upper end car showrooms may use a wet vac to achieve the result. You can also just vac normally and use a damp sponge which is the cheat's way!
