Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

Excellent range and colour of cars Brian, something for you to be really proud of, well done! I take it the aerial shots were done by Drone, which model and what camera?

Yes I agree Brian - its almost like the wife told him to sell it and he does not want to![:(] Plus highish miles and price may well not make this the top of everyone's list[;)]

Way off the mark? One owner from new; full service history; 2011 car; white; leather; PDK; plus many extra bits that most seem to like - can be no more than 5% off the mark (if at all) even with an average mileage of 8k per year. Don't think you're doing a fellow Spyder owner any favours.

Darrell I am doing a fellow Spyder owner a favour it just depends on whether it's the buyer or seller[:D] As Rob says at an OPC you would get this car for similar price or less with 2 years warranty fully serviced and fresh rubber if need be plus the comfort zone of a dealer and their finance deals etc. The seller is a private man aiming sky high IMO and if he gets close to the asking price I will be the first to eat my Suncap and opinions

Have got a nail in my rear tyre and it can't be repaired. Looking to replace both rears with Bridgestones again as they have lasted well. Currently 10,000 miles on clock and still 2.5-3mm left on tread. I do not track car so other sticky tyres do not interest me. Are these the Bridgestones for the Spyder?? Not with car at present to check http://www.tyreleader.co.uk/car-tyres/bridgestone/potenza-re050a/265-35-zr19-94y-56762 Thanks

Hi Rob Here is the info and details of te Boxster convoy. One of the largest events for the register this year is the Register Rendezvous Day on Saturday 13th Sept at Upton House & Gardens. This National Trust property is near Banbury in Warwickshire. (OX15 6HT) It will be a perfect excuse to shine up your Boxsters and to make a super display along the quarter mile driveway in front of this wonderful house. Picnics are welcome or you may like to take advantage of the restaurant once you have looked around the beautiful house. Entrance to the house and gardens is free of charge to all PCGB members and if we have enough interest we will look into arranging a register convoy to the event. If you would like to book a place please contact Narinder at club office on 01608 652911 or email her on events@porscheclubgb.com For those of you who wish to convoy to the event we will be meeting at the (Moto) Cherwell Valley Services OX27 7RD. This is off the M40 at junc10 We will be meeting circa 8.30am and will be leaving at 9am to make the 35min drive to Upton House. If you would like to join us please drop me a line or give me a call. Let’s see if we can make the Boxsters one of the biggest entries of the day.

Both cars ordered in RED I hope Brian[:D][;)]

I spotted a white Spyder on the M62 south of Leeds this evening. I think it was on foreign plates (red digits on a white background, and not in a trade plate style). I was in the tintop, so it was a good experience of what others see whilst we're out in ours. They do look good on the move!

This test report should appeal to any Kman "R" owners too thinking of a replacement Checkout the new heated buckets and the fancy red striped seatbelts[;)] http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-review/porsche/cayman/first-drives/porsche-cayman-gts-uk-first-drive-review
