WELCOME

Your car looks stunning is it the one advertised above that Daro posted ? The 987 is a great car and you will not be disappointed and will give you miles of smiles . Get out and enjoy whilst the weather holds up and you can still drive them in the rain it does not harm them [8D].

911V must have sold more Spyders than any other independents put together and even some OPC .

No doubt other Spydermen will be along soon to welcome you to the WEB
No. This was prior to that one, and the other one, had only just arrived when we picked ours up.

Really enjoying it so far dispite the weather.

Good Afternoon,

We've been out having loads of fun in the new spyder.

But;

My wife noticed what she thought was a slight hint of an old vomit smell inside the cabin, this was with the roof on.

Anyway after have some open top fun this afternoon, we noticed whilst putting the roof back on, that the smell was from the roof.

Is this normal, or are there cleaners out that that will help reduce the smell, I'm wondering if it's a result of it being stowed damp.

What do you guys use for cleaning and protecting your roof's inside and out?

John

I keep mine in the house under the bed :)

but on that rare case I use it the water just runs off with : I1 Smart Fabric AB

Antibacterial

Anti mould and mildew

Highly oil and water repellent

Why use Gtechniq Smart Fabric?

I1 Smart Fabric protects all kinds of fabrics from water and oil based stains. It is breathable and extremely durable thanks to unique Gtechniq 3S Smart Surface Science. With added BioCote® anti microbial technology, treated surfaces will kill 99.9% of bacteria. I1 Smart Fabric makes ordinary fabrics waterproof and easy to clean. Use it to prevent soaking, swelling or rotting on any fabric. From sails, tents and awnings to your car’s soft top and interior. The nano particles of I1 coat each fabric fibre individually, leaving the texture unaffected, allowing the material to breathe. This means stale air will still be able to escape, while repelling water and and oil-based liquids. Being alcohol based ensures a much deeper penetration of the active ingredient giving an I1 treated surface much better durability and overall performance. Typically an I1 treated surface will last 5 times longer than conventional water repellent coatings, with the lifespan of the product on soft tops for as long as 3 years.

fixed that for you :)

I get 11mpg on a hoon and about 18 ave :)

I tried to get above 20mpg but it was mind numbing.

With 14 Spyders and 33 GT4's on the used car market today all at mad money [] does anyone know what the final tally of cars in the UK panned out at

I think the market has slowed for Spyders & GT4 s after the rush to buy for those who never got a new one I think prices will soften for these 2 models over the next few months to tempt people who are looking for circa list .

Older classics still seem to be strong. The 987 Spyders & Cayman R are steady climbers

Cliff.

Top 555 sold 5 GT4's last week inc Roman Car they had, I also have been offered top money for mine so there is a market for sure at £100k

cannot see any prices soften while cars are moving hands still.

as always spec is key.

It is the same car without doubt ..

If so, then it's a great deal for Porsche. Lend the car out to the mags to rag around in and get great reports, then sell it for more than you would have got if sold new (with no miles or free marketing) to a customer!

But with 14 great cars for sale who would want to own a potential dog with many fleas! even if it was list price[&:]
