I'd keep em silver..if i had a silver car..colour coded wheels nearly always look fantastic..there are some exeptions though..

I haven't missed it once nor regretted selling it for a second. It was fine, but a C4 isn't a 911 in the way I wanted it to be.

I don't have any burning desire to buy another one, but if I do it will probably be a 3.2 Carrera or 930.

I can see your point but only because it was 4wd and I don't think that is right on a car, come to think of it that would make it like an Impreza hmmm so hows the RS6 then?

All cars from now on should be made compulsory to be Rwd any drive to the front is wrong wheel drive.

LOL - the RS6 is hardly chuckable; it would be a lot of car to be getting sideways. The reason I ruled out the E55 AMG without driving one even though on paper they are quicker than a standard RS6 is because I went out as passenger in a CLS 55 AMG and I know that they can't put the power down through only 2 wheels.

I'm not sure if the reason I didn't like the 964 was down to 4wd or if it was more fundamental. I guess only spending time with a Carrera 2 would answer that and that isn't likely to happen any time soon. I think even then the coil spring suspension controls the back too well and what I like in a 911 is the feeling of all that weight making itself felt behind.

I suppose that is also true the suspension was pretty well sorted from any 911 964 onwards so I don't think it would of made all that much difference I wouldn't mind getting a 911 one day but at the moment although money buying one isn't an issue, insuring 2 porsches at the cost of a reasonable 930 carrera each is I just don't see I could afford to do that and also the running costs too so I'll jsut stick to one for now and maybe think about it in a couple of years but I don't think I could bring myself to selling the 944. Normally by now I would of got bored with my car like I did with the coffin on wheels Volvo T5 after 5 months, but the 944S2 I still enjoy now which is really good.
