Bought this .......

Congrats - let me know when your visiting north to collect. It's had a few steroids! Please take me for a spin - I mean a lap - at Spa!

Have you sold the carpet aswell then Des? I cant keep up! So tell us a bit more about this one, what is it? How did it get the mods, does it have competitive history?

And what are you going to do with it?

if thats the car i think it is (fairly certain) then it's a cracker. Had a few laps in it at one of the car limits days. Guess you were there as well Des. It's super stiff and quick and has a carbon fibre dash insert with a stack gauge. Well done Des. Give us a ring some time need to catch up on all your wheeler dealing.

Nice car CarreraBoy - pity you wont be bringing it to Brooklands on New Year's Day... might even shock a few of the old-timers there !

I knew you liked Hardcore Des!

Well done and see you at Spa!

Have a Happy New Year when it gets here!

Charles

Well despite agreeing terms and a deposit paid 17th December, he has sold elsewhere !!!![:-] ... allegedly last minute! I have done nothing but chase delivery.

If he had turned up on his terms last Tuesday he would have had my money ...

My agreement has been used as a lever me thinks .... Very Shabby ....[8|]

Shocking way of doing things :( hope the guy isn't in RS circles as integrity just gone down the pan.

If you agree a deal and accept a deposit that's it in my world.

Sad state of affairs Des hope you find another.

Tbh thought it was overpriced anyway for such a modified car. Originality counts for a lot on these things or expect to take quite some time to sell. Go and get your carpet back and learn how to drive it to90% of ITS ability rather than going on about raw feel!!! ;)

HNY everyone

Very sorry to hear that Des, this looked such a good news story for New Years Eve ...

Are we allowed to know who dished the DIRT on you ?

Or was he tied into a sale with The Driven Image ??

Far as I know he dished his own DIRT .... made it clear to Herr RS Dealer Germany I had paid a deposit ...be interesting to see if lands there .... maybe not, now a very tainted car in my book.

Happy New Year Everyone

Carreraboy Rides AGAIN!

Des I would phone said Herr RS dealer and tell him his reputation is at stake in the PCGB market!

That should help him see straight. If he still gazumps you then he too will be tarnished.

Agree- that sounds like a very poor do! Deposit taken = car sold in my eyes. Was this time last year, I was buying Minty off Des. I seem to recall all sorts of trouble with my bank and getting funds cleared, and Thomas desperate to get the car to Europe. Glad you stuck to your terms Des - all worked out well in the end for me.

Hope you find another car soon (or hang on to that carpet - I thought it looked lovely)

Oh dear oh dear oh dear!!

Thing is, when something like this happens, I'm sure it's meant to be ..............and take some consolation that there is something better waiting around the corner.........[:)]
