Brighton Hoon on the 8th of Joon!

ORIGINAL: Ewan It's optimistic of you, Pete, to think that your car will be ready by the 8th June, but if it is I'll see you there! Count me in!
You're a wind up artist Ewan, Pete's car has been ready to go for months.. He just needs to decide if he is keeping it or not, modifying it further or not and I am more than happy for it to sit down here getting the odd drive to make sure it does not seize up till he makes that choice! I will be at the hoon and will be more than happy to meet up with anyone coming from the south west along the coast road, but in my own car.. Pete needs to get us to do anything he wants us to do and pick his car up and enjoy it! I might even bring more than one of my 944's if any of the chaps in the workshop want to come along for a hoon.

Well spoken Jon' [:D]!! I knew you wouldn't let me down [;)]!! Be great to see you mate. Feel free to bring my Turbo along (that's if I haven't picked it up by then) [:D]!! PS: Don't really want to sell Him Jon', just haven't got much room at the moment due to a house move (only 1.5 miles up the road).

Jon - I'm all for Pete keeping that car. It needs to be enjoyed by a financially secure lunatic, and such people, sadly, are few and far between. I can't believe I'm missing this jaunt yet again. Does Pete look at the Maserati fixture list and pick the date especially, just to be safe that I don't show up and embarrass him?!

Forgot to add that mine is running superbly. Ever since Mark fixed that damn annoying electrical fuel pump issue it's been superb. But it's due a summer service so I'll pop in soon.

Ewan, you are NOT allowed to attend that poofy Maserati meeting mate [8|]. You are bringing the Girls to the Brighton Hoon [;)]!!

I'll be there again this year, I'm staying in Brighton overnight coz you lot start too early so I'll see you at Madeira Drive.

Nice one Terry, we shall meet at last [;)]! The plaques are being made as we speak. Brian is warming up the griddle. I shall look forward to seeing lots of you there (that's if I'm not banned by the powers that be) [:D].

Ok, listen in all of you that are coming to Brighton on the 8th of Joon [8D]. I have just been speaking with Darryl who is the Brighton and Hove Motor Club's secretary and, we need to fill in an entry form (that's one EACH) and, get it back to him Pronto! These should of been sent out to me weeks ago but, for some reason of another, got overlooked [8|]. So, I am therefore going to ask each and every one of you to A) Download the "Concours and Classic car show" entry form (sponsored by Brighton Bed Centre) B) Fill it in. And C) Send it back to the address given on the form along with a £5 entry fee. Now, this is ONLY if you want to enter your car in the special 944 concours section which, will be especially for us. The 944 concours will be judged by Mr Pete' Rowe who is the Service Manager of Mid Sussex Porsche and, so I am told, an avid 944 fan [8D] (just don't tell him that I stick pins in an effigy of his Parts Manager [])!! I think we should ALL ENTER as this could be great fun and, could be the platform for ribbing and p155 taking for months to come [:D]! Whether your 944 is a "garage Queen" or a "Shed", just fill in the entry form and get it in the post straight away along with your fiver! There will be prizes for the winner, runner up so I believe [8D]. The form can be found on:- brightonandhovemotorclub.co.uk Your prompt response in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Any queries, just send me an E-mail or, give me a bell! Cheers all [:)].

I have sent in my formwith the appropriate fee. It's the taking part that is important not winning. I do not expect a prize LOL

Nice one mate [:D], Well done! I totally agree with you. It's defo' the taking part bit that counts although, I'm sure you won't turn your nose up at the £5,000 1st prize [8D]!! There hasn't been much response to my last post with the entry form request. I hope most of you have done so (if you want to take part in the 944 concours). I think that it's very good of Brighton and Hove Motor Club to arrange for the Service manager of Mid Sussex Porsche to come and judge our cars. So, let's make a bit of an effort for them [8D][:D]!!!

That's fantastic!! [8D]!! Don't forget the forms everyone. That's if you want to enter the 944 concours and, win the £5,000 prize [:D]
