ABSOLUTELY GUTTED [:(] Booked the weekend off, filled out my concours form - SORRY can't make it, run out of time getting the porka ready. Spent a great deal of time sorting out the bodywork but I can't get her finished for Sunday. I don't want to rush things in the final stages and ruin all the hard work. Andy Watson I can only apologies, do I owe you £ for the plaques you have made or other bookings, please email me and I will send you a cheque/paypal. I was really looking forward to my first 944 outing. Do any of you attend the Kent Area meetings? Perhaps I could catch up there. Two more days solid graft and she will be finished Have a good day and look forward to photo's

I've a porsche from 89 which had 13k miles when I brought it the clutch slave went within the first month and five years later nothing has gone. passes mot every year with no problems so I don't think you can say low miles means time bomb I've had brand new cars that have been a pain in the bum going wrong. And back in the day had a three year old 944 with 68k on in which was high for a newish car and it was amazing missed it every day when I sold it. Car are a lot of luck and how well the former keeper looked after them.

ORIGINAL: Andy 944 Andy Watson I can only apologies, do I owe you £ for the plaques you have made or other bookings, please email me and I will send you a cheque/paypal.
Hi Andy, Sorry you can't make it, hopefully the car will be ready for you soon But this event is Pete's (ex-syline) not mine, it's all his organising

You don't owe me anything Andy, it just means there'll be more grub for us lot [:D]! Only joking mate. There's always next year, don't worry about a thing [;)]. Forgot to say Andy 944, send me your address and, I will put your commemorative plaque in the post to you mate [:)].

Mines covered in 5h1t but, I couldn't care less! Aint got time to wash Him so, He'll have to stay that way [8|]! Anyway, what's a bit of road dust and seagull's poo between friends? [:D]

What time do you expect to arrive in Brighton? I will be travelling with David as my car isn't ready, hard to sort stuff when you are working in a field on the outskirts of hull Monday to Friday! I can't face the drive to pease pottage so we will head m27 etc along the coast. Jon M wasn't sure his car would be ready either but anyone else headed from over this way?

S2 so fast it's arrived 12 hours before Terry's boost kicks in [:)]

[/img] Any of you travelling from the west DO NOT take the scenic route along the coast between Hove & Brighton there's road works.

Claire and Dave are going straight to Brighton from Dorset, and I believe they are intending to go M27/A27... Any suggestions to avoid the roadworks? (if it were me, I would say A272, Mmmm... But I'm an ex-biker, and I fear it wouldn't avoid the roadworks anyway?). I can't make it... Under strict instructions on a new house build.

A27 then A23 into Brighton is OK, I went for a ride out this evening and came back along the coast road between Hove and Brighton, it's like a car park because of the road works.

Back home from the hoon very civilised event and not much hooning about. Good to meet everyone and off course a big thanks to Pete for the grub and day Who's claimed 5k prize.

Thanks for organising today and for breakfast Pete. I'll find a link to the company I mentioned and email it to you. Terry, thanks for helping with the horn push.

Thanks for the breakfast Pete and thanks for organising. Great to catch up with old friends and meet new. A great day Regards Jason
