Hi Mark & Wendy, Karen and I are up for this and have now registered and paid for tickets - our number is: 8017. Informed CITP we're PCGB members , so hopefully we'll all be marshalled together, cosy fashion. All we need on the day is lots of Sunshine and it should fantastic ! - If anybody wants to rendezvous at Scotch Corner services we could head on to Newby Hall together - just a thought, we can talk about this at the next Club night.

Great stuff Dave. I was going to suggest the same thing nearer the time. What we'll probably do is meet with the guys and girls that live up this neck of the woods (Sunderland/Newcastle area). We'll then trundle down to meet up with the rest of cars at Scotch Corner.

Great stuff. I'll be posting meeting times, etc in a around a weeks time. We'll do two meeting points, one at Washington services and then on to Scotch Corner to pick up the southern members of the club. Should be a cracking day.

[Meeting Times[/b]]

I've had a look on the site and display cars can start arriving from 9.00am ready for the gates to open for the public at 11.00 am. So for those members wishing to go down in convoy, I suggest we get there no later than 10.15 am. This will give us plenty of time to park up etc, grab a coffee and have a natter before the gates open to the public.

What I suggest is, the northern members of the club meet at the Washington Service Station on the A1M from 8.00am, looking to leave at around 8.30am. We'll then head down to Scotch Corner services to pick up the southern members of the club. It takes roughly 40 mins (at normal speeds) to get to Scotch Corner so we should arrive no later than 9.15am. Then at around 9.30am we'll head down to Newby Hall which is around 45mins away.

Don't forget your ticket!

Should be a great and day and hope to see loads of Porsches heading down in convoy.
