Graham, i'm planning on bringing the yellow car to this so might see you at Newby .... might squeeze on to the pcgb bit if you don't mind an interloper ;)

MESSAGE TO ALL HEADING FOR NEWBY HALL ON SUNDAY: I've spoken to a Highways guy today and he has confirmed to me that the A1 south of Scotch Corner will be closed all day Sunday 8th May.[Closure starts Sat night - 38 hr period] The closure is from Scotch Corner to Leeming Bar. All Southbound traffic coming from Newcastle/Durham areas will be diverted at the A1M Sedgefield intersection and pushed over to the A19 - the alternate meet up point at The168 Diner now very apt. c 9.45am. I think Karen and I will head for 168 diner or if running late wait up for the convoy near Newby Hall. Hope this is clear friends !

Great catch Dave, Looks like we'll be heading down the A19 from the Washington services and see everybody from south of the region at the diner.

Well, I'm already for the show on Sunday, can't wait. Had a couple of days off work so I've been washing the Boxster and doing a little polishing with my new Dremel. Took an age to get the sand out of the wheel arches from the run to Holy Island last week, but she's now ship shape waiting for Sundays show. Some pics below.

Shiny pipes[:)], sad, I know.

We will be leaving Washington around 8.30 aprox aheading across on to the A19 then heading South to meet with the Guys & Girls further South at The 168 Diner, Topcliffe Common, Topcliffe, Thirsk YO7 3HW for around 9.30-9.45AM, before heading off together for the last few miles to Newby Hall. (aprox 25mins)
That fit with you, Mark?
See you all tomorrow and don't forget your sun cream. [8D]
