Clear indicator lenses (all models) - group buy

Edited to say: The group buy is over! The post was resurrected from months ago because of some off topic discussion in the middle of it.

OK, following on from the other thread, a suggestion on Titanic, and because it's high-time I made some effort in the 944 community I'm going to try to get a group buy on these off the ground.

http://www.turnclear.com

List prices are:
Lux fronts: Eur 80 (do these fit the 924?)
S2/Turbo fronts: Eur 125
Replacement for the orange part of the rear light: Eur 76 (these fit 924 as well)

All are plus postage and quite possibly tax - I'll post back about what discount may be on offer and what the actual price is when I hear back.

Hi Fen

Please include me on the list. Depending on price may be interested in front and back.

Cheers

Anyone got a picture of the clear rears on a black car or from directly behind so I can photoshop them onto mine

BTW I use the silver indicator bulbs on the Puma to take away any hint of orange. Looks much cleaner than the orange bulbs

On Rennlist recently they have just a their group buy sent. But I think it was $5,000 worth!
Maybe I'll pm the guy to see what sort of discount etc. they got.

The guys on Rennlist paid:

$120/ÂŁ65 for the front.

$74/ÂŁ40 for the side ?????

$53/ÂŁ29 for the rear.

They have those hideous marker lights.

I knew I should have been keeping an eye on Rennlist but I've been too busy recently. Good discount, but I'm some way off $5,000 worth still, even a full price

If you can near to those prices I would be in for some rears,
Tony

(and possibly a right front [:(])

As the originator of the previous post, I'm definitely still interested - front, rear, repeaters (although it seems I'll need to get those elsewhere)... assuming the bulk-buy discount is favourable of course!

Dan, I think the side repeaters are for the American spec. Also, you pick up clear ones for next to nothing. I paid ten quid for mine. The rear ones I'm not too sure what improvement they make to the looks and as you will probably crack at least one getting them out your then committed.
I had thought about forming some from polycarb but forgot about it, after I formed some front lens protectors for a 356 with what I think is called a Dino nose.
I think the front ones are a huge improvement. I remember the first time I saw Tonys car parking at the front engined meet and thought it was better to let him get out of the car before I pounced on him, but then couldn't find him later to ask where he had got his from.

I think the rears make the most difference, to be honest.

I've had no response at all from to email I sent on Sunday evening...

At list price I have interest for over $2,700 worth already - so it mounts up. I don't know that we'll get to $5,000, and certainly not that much after a decent discount, but I was surprised by the figure so far.

as do I, one of the reasons I have held off changing the fronts for so long is that I wanted to make sure I do the rears at the same time for consistency. And fortunately I have a couple of spare rear clusters so if I don't like the appearance I can always switch back.

If we go ahead with the group buy this will be my first non-standard item on the exterior of the car [], something I have always tried to avoid - but the clear lenses just look so much tidier. Then I really must get round to buying that 6x4 exhaust.... [:)]

How about this one, Dan?
