Clear indicator lenses (all models) - group buy

if I don't like the appearance I can always switch back.

The rear cluster is bonded in with sealant so not necessarily the sort of thing you want to be dragging in and out frequently. Just a thought..... [8|]

I would also be interested in all bits as well if it happens.

my cars polar/glacier? blue so it really could do with clear lenses.

I,am on vacation from the 30 august till 11 sept so if you do sort the lenses out i will still have them but not till after i come back paul

i would be very interested in getting my hands on a pair of rear clear indicator covers i have the front and side and they have made such a difference my car is sreaming out for the rear now
so if you are getting im in

Sorry Dan, not a peep from them after several weeks and 2 emails. I'll give them another go I guess but it doesn't look like they are interested in selling them...

I did wonder if this was going to be the case as there didn't seem to be any specific commitment on cost. At least this is only a cosmetic issue and doesn't mean people will have their cars off the road waiting for bits so time isn't too much of an issue.

Having atomised my credit card over the last month or so I might have to withdraw my intention. I'm on a bit of a cost verses speed value analysis currently and looking nice doesn't score too many points.

I was interested for the cab, now I've decided to sell it. I don't really feel my track car needs indicators of any specific colour...

I'd still buy fronts as then I can remove the big fog/driving lamp in favour of brake cooling and keep road legal by fitting a parking light behind the clear indicator lens at the other end from the ionicator bulb.

Man he speak of most sensible and considered conversion. Now that you have sugested it you have to go ahead and see it through to completion - it's The Law. Well, obviously it isn't "The Law" but it does sound and interesting concept.

hello

is there any news on the buy ? i'm just asking because i need to know when to accidently break the back indicator covers (oh look at that the wife, they just fell out i need to buy new ones now[;)]) Well it might work [:D]

Simon at Essential Styling is trying to improve his price by bulk buying so if anyone is interested send him an email at simon@essentialstyling.com

No commitment, just a general enquiry so he knows the numbers involved.

I don't think it will be anywhere near as good as the 'possibility' that Fen found, but at least Simon is in the UK

I wonder what would happen if I boiled my orange indicators in bleach [:D][:D][:D]

The turnclear chap has signed up to the Forum and posted over in the 924 area that he did respond to Fen's email and that we should contact him if we're still interested. How many potential takers do we have now?

(edited for typo)

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know of an all red rear light conversion similar to the 968?
I was driving through the village of Hartley Wintney in Hampshire a couple of months ago after work and saw a very clean looking S2/Turbo parked by the shops. When I looked back at it I noticed the rear end looked very clean and had all red rear lenses. Haven't seen it since so couldn't enquire how they did it or where they came from - any ideas?
