Fully understand situation re. Dakota v. Riverhouse - a problem that perhaps could have been sorted, as you say, by effective intervention and facilitation. My point was that as soon as it becomes an issue of this size that could concern prospective new members then the thread should perhaps be moved to a members only area with an effective signpost being left on the Scottish Area Forum to guide members ( who are perhaps the only ones entitled to comment anyway!).

Hope it all gets sorted out soon.

I agree with Kim on this one. The club here is really good with many members all contributing in their own way both at the Sherbrook and Dakota. The issue is the current RO has failed to understand what the members want and a simple move in the "official " club night would have cured the issue.

I am sure that the members of Scotland South will resolve this very quickly indeed, (maybe on the members only forum), but more than likely by attending meetings and getting involved in a friendly and positive manner. To me the main objective is to get involved along with the other members at meetings and events and not just join a debate to complain about a club to which you are not affiliated.

I do believe this is meant to be fun?
