Dirty Tesco Petrol???


Maybe there is a marketing statement being made but the quoted Research Octane Number (RON) of the fuel is measured using an established procedure:

The additives in V Power are supposed to help prevent carbon build up too. I'll mix in Tesco 99 but i'll keep paying for V Power.
 
I've used Tesco 99 in 3 successive performance cars (996 C2, AMV8 and 997 TT Cab) over the last 6 years and over some 40K miles and never once had an issue with it, so this could be a local issue or something else......
