Do i have to use OPC for brake pad change to keep my warranty?

He might be referring to their ability to fall apart when used on cars that have a caliper actuated handbrake. But I don't own one..

Full set of Pagid discs arrived today, quality seems good and already primered so just need a bit of painting. Not bad for less than Ă‚ÂŁ200 inc delivery..

I went with the pagids when I replaced my front discs. Done about 1500 miles on them and there are no signs of wear. I have done some pretty hard braking as well [;)]

Paint wise I use an acid etch primer for both discs and calipers, the discs are then coated in smoothrite before VHT high temp lacquer. It's one of those little known things that smoothrite was originally designed as a high temp paint. The calipers have to be sprayed with VHT colour and are wet sanded so the decals can be applied before three coats of the VHT lacquer. Shall post a pick when they are fitted although you probably won't appreciate the colour I've chosen for the calipers!

Yikes! Good luck![;)]
Why do you say that? I've used them for a while and found them to be ok on track and road.
Tried red and yellow on various cars previously and they fell to bits - well the surfaces became very crazed. Wouldn't put them on my Porsche - Pagid RS 29s for me![:)]

Rear end finally finished, black HEL lines hidden in there too:

Maplins sell an aerosol called label remover. It works a treat on the residue from the weights and also removes the tar spots inside the rims :)

Yellow calipers Giff! Are you a PCCB wanabe..? The black intake (as per a previous post?) looks good against the red. Jeff

LOL yes! It's more that red on a red car just isn't enough of as contrast. The Brembo calipers are lovely and are so light!

Of course! Was the conversion a big job? Does the handbrake still actuate within the steel bell?
