Is this OK with everyone? Has anyone any issues?

Directions
As you head into Silverstone circuit you'll come to a big roundabout, take your 3rd exit and a bit further down on your left hand side you'll see a few units and it's in there, you can't really miss it. If you miss it the road goes on to a dead end.

Please give me a call if you have any problems. 07951 291121.

Anyone else wanting to go on the rollers let me know.

Look forward to seeing you all.

Rich

Hi Rich,

Unexpectedly, I find myself available - any chance I might get a go on the rollers at this late stage?

Be interested to see how the miles have taken their toll after making the last 2 Dyno Days.

If not, I'll turn up for a double bacon and banter [:D]

Well done for organising this years event.

If anyone is coming from the South East and wants to meet up for a convoy we will be leaving South Mimms @ 7:30

Would be good but that would make my set off time just a bit too early - plus I just heared the A12 is closed due an exploding van - guess they would clear the mess up by tomorrow but then again maybe not. So a dash along the A14 and thence to Northampton is on the cards for me

Bizarely Autoroute suggests A12-M25-M1 is half an hour quicker than A14 even if it is 26 miles further. I haven't told it about the road works on the M1 though [:-]

Don't forget the 50mph average speed cameras

......and if the '944 wing' is in formation I want video or pics (hands free of course) [:D]

I should be there mid to late PM, so please don't empty the burger van beofre I get there!

Is everyone going for a wind-down afterwards?

Previously the lard wagon has left in the early afternoon (or when custom dries up) so we need to keep on buying the butties and teas to make it worth his while [8D]

Will probably leave at about 7am once dog is walked and at least one coffee is consumed South Mimms from here would mean leaving before 6.30 and not sure I can manage that as am feeling a bit [&o].

Well done Rich, well organised, it was a corking day topped off by England beating the Aussies at Ruby. A perfect day in my book - half the day around 944's and other likeminded people, followed by watching a good sporting event in the pub that ended up with the right result, spending a few hours with my little-un topped off by a pizza, bottle of wine and a good film (just about to watch). God i'm getting old but so what!

I must admit that even though I left the rollers of truth chuffed to bits with my results I was a little jelous of a few things:-

1. The 400bhp+ of Fens Audi and the 996 turbo
2. The flat torque curve of the 993
3. The 306bhp of Marks "It's completely standard, oh and I almost forgot it's got a boost enhancer, oh and I almost forgot it's been chipped" 944 turbo - It seems even the 944 forum cannot escape conspiracy theories. Either Mark is hiding something or Promax have done something that he is not aware of!! Stunning car all the same.
