early porsche track day

Well I spoke with my Boss and I told him straigh ......... that monday I want off or else..[:D][:D][:D]

looking forward to it.. and yes as per past comments pre 74 only as many cars came out on to the track that wouldn't have before if it was a normal track day...

with out having a pop as 924 owners.. as I do like the 924 ..if you included up to 1980 then some jump start could buy a 924 for £250 off Evil bay and hack it round the track and have no cares in the world.. if that being the case.. I wouldn't be going....... like minded people with like minded cars... it was a perfect day and one that will be just as perfect again with hopefully more cars as it was the first one that we did and I'm sure a number of people sat on the side lines to see what it was all about ..

I would like to see some 914 and 356 out next time... really would like to see more...

so has Joe given the day off [;)][:D][:D].

The day is still on the books and steve is chasing silverstone again.Silverstone are having to organise everything else before confirming our date,it sounds like we are 90% there,i will confirm soon.
We will then be chasing you all for your money and bookings etc
Jason tell me about this orange rsr looking car you have.

Ok the day is confirmed, sadly more money than last year, however if we can get more cars than last year the cost will come down some,It is also a full day 9 to 5 and gives a bit more value to the day.
We have now confirmed a booking with Silverstone for the day being planned as a Pre-74 model
day. This will be on Monday 28th July, immediately following the Silverstone Classic meeting.
However, due to demand for Silverstone days in 2008, we have not been able to get a preferential
price for the day and the cost per head will be higher than 2007 at £280. We must stress that it will
remain as a Pre-74 car day, so long as it is fully supported. If not, we must reserve the right to
accept bookings from later model Porsches, to make the day financially viable.
Please get your booking in asap.

This is one day I would love to come and watch - sadly I have promised the family a week in France that week ....... I haven't booked it yet though ......![8|]
