EAST LONDON MEET 21st April FATBOYS DINER

Excellent Des,
Something for everyone and people can join and leave as they like throughout the day. Fatboys is closed on Sundays; Saturday, 14th July is the Pistonhead breakfast at Ace which a number of us attend but if it works for the majority and if no other dates work then go for it.

When I referred to Fatboys as a regular meets I had Saturday lunch/afternoon meet in mind (they close at 3pm on Saturday); if it is an evening meet you are after then Yi-Ban would be fine but just keep in mind that a restaurant as a regular meet may exclude individuals who do not want to eat or those who just want to drop by for a quick hello and a drink (it shouldn't but you know how these things go) plus it is more work for you chasing numbers for booking the table and saves the embarrassment of an empty table when those who say will turn up don't, especially in winter months when it suddenly starts to rain and some Porsches just refuse to get out of the garage [;)].

More importantly it would be great to hear from individuals who cannot do Ace, Richmond or Central London meets and want a regular East London meet...

Des, I have Greg's new details if you need another contact at Porsche Bow but I am sure you will work your charm and find someone else at the centre [:D]

I liked the midday meet, no pressure of having to go to a restaurant, it was an easy relaxing few hours and
easy to grab a burger.
I'd do this venue every time.

Thought Fatboys was v good and the Chinese Resturant has potential for evening meets. Although I make it to the Ace and Richmond it would be really nice to have a regular East London meet (much closer to home!) and it will balance the score for those of us on the 'wrong' side of town for the other venues. Cheers

thought fatboys was ok, space to line the cars up and option to get a nibble to eat etc. Think it's kinda important to get a regular spot in the east London area with meeting, mingling and driving in mind.

Think that way people will be able to come along whilst acknowledging the other pressures we all have on out time blah blah blah - therefore a saturday afternoon meet is cool!
