One of oddities about spa is that its legal to have the INSIDE 2 wheels on the kerb at Radillon (4 wheels off the tarmac), hence that is the racing line. they actually show you pictures of a car on the kerb in the driver briefings to make it clear. Hence, in the dry everyone does it. where as I've been black flagged for 4 wheels on the kerb at places like Snetterton. I can only think its because of people trying to avoid penaltys that end up in the wall.
But in the wet it's rather a different matter !
My second day ever at Spa and I thought I was starting to "get it". Over cooked the entry to Eau Rouge, couldn't hold the apex on the right, let the car drift straight and level over the paint of Radillon, but it's very bumpy and airborne, the car turned into an arrowhead, did a 180 degree and we were running backwards up the Kemel straight on wet grass with the passenger side parallel to the wall. So, I rear wheel steered very gently off the grass, the rear tyres then bit and flipped the car through another 180 degrees and we were then heading forwards on the wet grass, enabling me to drop it into second and I gradually drove it off the sodden grass and onto the tarmac.
It was a bit of a shock for Ben, I was quite numb [:-]

Perhaps they'd taken too much front aero off it? It looked a nightmare- my heart was in my mouth each time he went through Eau Rouge ..
The one corner that I didn't manage to take 100% as I wanted was the Radillon of course. In the GT3 I brake and turn towards the left curbstone simultanously at Eau Rouge and it works perfect... car feels very well balanced!
I tried the same approach in the 964RS... woehoe boy!!! The back stepped out a bit on 2 attempts resulting in ginving up and searching a more conservative way before crashing the car [8|]. Braking + steering is certainly a lot more sensitive to a 964RS than a GT3!!
What do you guys suggest I should do? RS L/W on Michelin cups... braking in teh straight line before Eau Rouge and than turn in?? Or lift throttle? Or try to brake more gently?

From your videos, you might be lifting too early. Keep the throttle in as you turn left, firmly, on a gentle understeer. Sequence is like this:
Almost full throttle turning left (two wheels in the grass over the rumble strip), dab on the brakes in the compression when car is straight (this is the hardest part as it is easy to brake too much), turn right. Very safe.

Mich M3 - useful turn in point into Eau Rouge is the marshalls post on the pit lane wall, now painted red. Keeping nice and tight to the wall helps too.

Phil... but that's a 1075kg Cup car on slicks... I don't think my 1200kg Lightweight on Michelin Cups will change direction as swift and steady...

It also works with a 964 RS on Michelin Cups, maybe with a bit more understeer. You will probably find that the car is more stable with the throttle on when turning left into Eau-Rouge.

Full throttle down the pit wall to the marshal hut. Slight lift cut across the kerb on 3/4 throttle. Dab the brake in the compression then full throttle with late apex on hill..
I get body roll and understeer in the RS after the compression but the Cup is planted through the turn up the hill.

If you have a very slow car in front it saves lifting!
There are PCF Days every month which are great. Much quieter too. There will be one in June you might fit in with the RS tour?
