eBay Silver Rose

Fen was spot-on when he suggested that owners will tend to distance themselves from the colour. The log book for my car details the colour as brown!

Now I will give you that brown is worse than silver rose. I think the oval dash cars escaped the brown or beige interiors, but I have seen a chocolate metallic Turbo a couple of times - I assume it's the same car as surely there can only be one left?

if the Silver Rose colour scheme floats your boat, then this looks a pretty good example, albeit LHD

(check out the CS wheel, never seen it in that colour - what is that colour??? [8|])

What's going on with the rear of that car? Saw that ad a couple of days ago and the back end looks waaay too high (?) Or is it just me? [&:]

PS - matt951 ~ sent you an email [:)]

Made the mistake of opening that link whilst sipping tea and I believe some actually came out of my nostrils []

I think the colour of the wheel could be 'DFS leather sofa brown'

That was my seat if any 1 wanted it from the club they could have had it foc....new seats now awaiting burgandy leather (4 hides bought) need some one to do the recover !!!! do you know any 1 in south wales.....pink plaid (yuk)

Normally you do get the original number back. (I have done this on two occasions). What could possibly have happenned is that the original number was transferred onto another car when they changed the 944's registration.
Maybe worth checking with DVLA.
Cheers,

Speaking of garish interiors there is/was a black 996 Turbo for sale in Sheffield OPC Red leather everywhere in side with yellow instuments!

I owned the first Silver Rose car that came into the uk, which I bought 2nd hand in 89.

It was an Ex Porsche UK car that was the press demo and used by all leading Car mags in 1988.

The Reg No. was E868 FJM, registered late 87.

The log book stated the colour as Red!!

Not sure who has the car now.
