Exotic Replicas - Visit 18 Feb

Thank you for organising the day John, the company as always was great and the meal excellent.
The C&T entertainment was up to the usual standard as well!
Shall never look at a replica in the same light again!

No Vic, I think I've got the bug. I'm going to sell my clapped out old 911 for about £20k and lash out £35k for a rusty old MR2 tub with100k miles on it with some square section mild steel and half a ton of glass fibre lashed to it. Then I'm going to pose about at shows with it and reckon that I'm a millionaire!!![:D][:D][:D][:D].

Thanks to R7 for allowing us to join in your day, we enjoyed the company but guess that we will not see many of you at the Lambo replica club meetings soon! I wonder if that is how they make the real ones?

Nice to have met you and hope to see you again soon.

Regards
Gavin

I don't expect for a minute that the comment above was directed at me Dave. Think I might join the Merc club to meet some very sensible, decent people and have some intelligent conversation instead of the usual verbal garbage that I have to endure at the Porsche club.
I must say that an academic, like wot I am, does find it rather wearing at times.
At least when we are out on a run they won't be reckoning that they are in second gear because they are embarrassed at an 1800cc motor with three passengers keeping up with and occasionally passing them.
With any luck somebody might join the Fiat 500 club! [:)]
