Eynsham Hall - Display Cars needed

Apart from the dinner, what are the other 'evening's entertainments'?
(Has anyone got an NCP peaked cap I can borrow, I've already got the limp!).
Cheers,

This may not be the most practical solution but if people are displaying their cars but have accommodation outside of Eynsham Hall. What about a minibus service to get them to and from their hotels etc on the Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Free service as they are doing the club a favour in displaying their cars and putting them at the mercy of the sticky fingers brigade.
This may mean a double journey on the Saturday night if they are attending the dinner, unless they want to walk around in their DJs and posh frocks all day.
Like I said may not be a most practical solution but at least they don't have to move their cars, plus it would make it easier for the Special Display team to get things organised on the Sunday morning.
Shoot me, I'm not the messenger!
Cheers,

Hi Mark, sorry to mess you about but Mick and I are now reconsidering whether or not to go to Donington having looked at the entry list and programme. Would you like my car for Sunday as well as Saturday? (Lapis Blue 2.7 987)
I, too, would need to get my car out as there is 'no room at the Hall' and it's too far to walk to Witney, although we haven't booked anywhere yet dependent on your response to this posting. Fred's suggestion of the minibus sounds a good one! At least the cars would be in position or nearby for Sunday. If my car is not required then we will need to exit the display. Hope to hear from you soon so that I can book accomodation. Sue & Mick

Maybe I will display the car on Sunday only (Mark - have you got this?). It will save everybocy a lot of trouble.

It serves me right for trying to fit too much into one weekend!

We have a solution [:)]

Louisa has come up with a plan. To allow cars to be safely "marshalled" out of the event, and allow Marshalls to get back to their hotels etc to sort themselves out for the evening, we will ask display cars who need to leave the event to move out before the closing time (between 4 and 5 probably).

This means we won't have a load of cars leaving just as the public/members are all walking back to the main parking areas at the front of the house.

If everyone can be back on the stand at 9 on Sunday then we are clear [:)]

Sounds good to me. (And as I'm one of the marshalls it gives me time to muscle in on a barbie in the campsite, the gala ginner means having to wear a tie, not quite my scene). [:)]
Cheers,

Mark,
Do you know if Louisa has passed the details about cars leaving early to Barry Smith and the other RSs? Hopefully she has.
Cheers,

Not to my knowledge - I think it might just be the Boxsters and 924 CGT's as we are "anniversary displays" at the rear of the house. I think all the other display cars are at the front and therefore easier to move....(?)

That sounds good, Mark. Now I can still do both days and get to my village event as well.

Thanks![:D]

Just to confirm that my guards red 2.7 (black interior and roof) is still available for the Sunday only (coming over from Guernsey and boat doesn't get in till midday Saturday so no chance of doing both days ... sorry).

Mark,

If you're still looking for Blue cars, I can be there Saturday.
Lapis Blue with Savanna (N55BOB)
Please let me know.

Bob,

I see you are booked for Sunday instead(?)
At the time of your post I already had 2 Blue cars for the RWB display,

But I see your car would fill the missing slot for a 986S in the Anniversary display on Sunday, so I've promoted you from Register Parking (as I understand you had on your booking form).

That's my plan - as long as I get it approved...

HELP PLEASE?

I still desperately need a 987 model S for Saturday, or prefereably both days for the Anniversary display.

If you can help please contact me NOW[:)]
We need to get you on the "master list" before they close it.

I can do the dry sunny day but my car is "Silver" [&o]

Robert,

Silver is fine!

Perfect in fact... (I wanted a range of colours that's all - I wasn't intending to exclud any [&o])

Are you coming for both the dry sunny days? [:)]

(If it is a "moist" dry sunny day would you still be coming? [] )

Would love to have you there [8D]

I will say Saturday (subject to weather [8D]) and Sunday TBA [;)]

After a flurry of emails behind the scenes I would like to thank Daro911 (wet or dry) for completing our Anniversary line up [:)]

I love it when a plan comes together...
