Some of Gtechniq's stuff is fantastically good but I prefer to take my pick from all the products out there.Lancerlot said:I would be inclined to think about investing in a comprehensive detailing session with your local Gtechniq operative and then purchase the GTechniq Essential Maintenance Pack for DIY use in order to keep your vehicle in pristine condition.
This company's products seem to be very well thought of within the trade, its customers and members on this forum.

Love it Nigel. I've got Porsche car care kits, BMW versions, range rover, plus all the stuff people always buy you for Christmas knowing you are a car nut ... and I bet most of it is going out of date .. certainly wouldn't trust it to use on the new car!nigelwalsh said:so are we saying my 15 year old bottle of glass cleaner is probably no good..

In fact I have a few AutoGlym products in the garage - always found them pretty good..
- Super Resin Polish
- Paint Renovator
- Tar Remover
- Clean Wheels
I need somehthing decent for the interior, for black alloys and tyre dressing - what do folks recommend? (Im assuming my rusty back to black spray or minute wax tyre dressing dont cut it either )
on the GTechniq, would people recommend doing this straightaway on a new car? the dealer says they are going to do the standard "paint protection" but just wondering whether its worth getting the 7 year crystal plus product done professionally while its still showroom clean.Lancerlot said:I would be inclined to think about investing in a comprehensive detailing session with your local Gtechniq operative and then purchase the GTechniq Essential Maintenance Pack for DIY use in order to keep your vehicle in pristine condition.
