Formula 1 team factory visit - 15 September 2006

Following Mike's (R10 RO) idea earlier this year of a 'motorsport factory visit' I have arranged a factory tour of Midland F1 in Silverstone (www.midlandf1.com ) on Friday 15 September. I need to confirm the start time, but this is likely to be 3pm.

There are only 15 places available, with 2 already taken (myself and Mike). [FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Mike and I may also arrange a local pub visit after the tour.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Regards[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Lloyd[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Six places have been booked so far (including Tony & Dave above) and an R8 member has expressed an interest if we don't fill the remaining places with R10 members.

Thanks

Lloyd

Sorry I haven't been in touch for a while, having been away for a few days and also waiting for the tour organiser at Midland to return from holiday.

There are 12 R10 members on the list and two 'reserves' from R8. I'm not sure of the 'etiquette' of inviting other Region members so will take advice from the RO.

The RO and I had proposed a start time of 3pm, however Midland would very much like to do the tour earlier, lunchtime around 12 - 12.30pm. Can I have your views on this.

Cheers

Lloyd

Hope you had a good break [:)].

I may struggle to do this before 2 pm - I need to be at work in the morning (only in MK office, thankfully). Let me know how you get on with other replys.

Hi - this would be no problem for me - do you know approximately how long the tour will take?

Thanks for the replies, I'll have a word with Mike and get back to you all.

The tour is likely to take an hour or so.

You are on the list Ravi.

It looks as though a start time in the region of 1 - 2pm is favourite. I'll speak to Midland tomorrow and try to get something that suits everybody.

Cheers

Lloyd

I have confirmed 2pm with Midland for next Friday, which I hope is OK for all.

I'll have directions & information to send round very soon.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]
