Front & rear dashcam

You're a bit limited on footage length for road trips John as they overwrite after a certain period of time.

I'd suggest a GoPro or similar for what you want to do.

Just fitted the Nextbase to the GT4, would like to add the rear camera as well, anyone done this? Does it need to be hardwired to the front? If not is there a USB connector in the boot? Haven't bought it yet so not sure.

Thanks

Well that was easy - not, just plug it into the front camera was the easy bit, the hardest bit is routing the cable along the headlining but not too bad until you get to the hatch and crossover. The cables are very long, if anyone has fitted a rear camera where have you hidden the excess cable?

Update, not keen on removing side panels from the car to hide the excess cable, a couple of solutons I have seen are to make a clip to attach to the rubber seal so it doesn't fit to the hatch or I was wondering if it would work if it was mounted to the cross bar in the rear, easier to hide all of the cables then and the camera is easily adjustable although would need to check if the spoiler hinders views or just pay someone to fit it :)

Thanks
