Fuch Wheels

ORIGINAL: 944 man
I have 7" fronts with 225/45 and 8.5" rears with 255/40 Thom. I think that 225 is an ideal size all round for a Turbo, or maybe even 205 on a 16" wheel.

Interesting... Do you think you could post a pic or two showing how tyrewalls look like on your wheels?
Curious to see if half an inch less than the official wheel widths makes the tyres look as excessively wide as it does when using 225/50 on a 7" wide 16" CS wheel...

why would you spend huge amounts of money relative to the price of the car for a set of wheels that at 17 inches will ruin the suspension set up and compliance?

surely we would all benefit from putting the fuchs money into mechanical/body restorations.

I will bide my time and wait for these wheels to come up for sale when they are used parts from MOT failure cars[]

Will say now, so I don't get blasted completely, the above was said tongue in cheek!! keep your eyes peeled for 2nd hand 16inch fuchs, much much cheaper.

Because it doesn't matter how fast it is, in McDonalds car-park it counts for nothin' if it doesn't look fast[:D]

Tref... Running 16s, and a very special look[;)]
