Gen 2 PDK

Had a Gen.2 997 C2S on 24 hour loan today with PDK but this time also with Sport Chrono Plus. I will post a full report elsewhere, but just to say that the "plain" Sport mode button makes the auto box work in a much more Porsche-like manner and frankly I think this should be standard, with a Econo mode as an option instead. This has confirmed my opinion that PDK should not be ordered without the Sport Chrono option (unless you like driving Miss Daisy or are going to use M mode all the time).

having spent several days with a pdk 997C2S with pdk(including 2 afternoons with instructors) i agree with your feelings,which is why ,i guess,very few people order it without the sportchrono plus tick option.when i get mine,it will be the first box to tick after pdk!!
