Gleneagles Bash 2008

Well the time has come to just say what the hell and organise the Club Gleneagles outing 2008.
This is the first Thursday in August and has traditionally been 7 pm for 7.30 dinner at the Dormy House.

This year I am told some of our ladies are making a day of it and playing golf on the Kings then heading for the amazing new Spa to be pampered. I am told the 4 hand treatment is a real eye opener! [;)]

So it is time to raise your hands and I will book a table once I know nos. It has been very popular the last few years but who knows what alternatives will be on offer the same night. WRI talk perhaps....?

Anyone who would like to golf or Spa get in touch and depending on interest I can get tee times.

The best bit is it is all at Members rates so very reasonably priced!

charles, been last couple of years and its a nice run up and food good, but it would be better if larger tables can be sorted out, last year the food took about two hours to be served and being at a table of four never really got a chance to chat to many other than those who were at my table ? just a thought !

will check dates, but i think i am back from ring by then !

Now Helen, that's just about my size of car!!!!

I was offered a booster seat by one of the organisers at the Thirlestane Castle car show a few weeks ago!!!![:)]

LOL. yes i'm only just over 5foot 2inches tall. it can be a real challange driving some of the older Porsches. i've been told that sometimes i can't be seen either..

You must be 50 then! I saw it but was too jealous to comment. I do fancy a trip and know a few others who would follow!

Go-karts being sorted for autumn so you can try and retain the trophy. Do you golf?

We can go to the bar when the others are at the Spa.

Funny how close the CS was with 240bhp to the 360. Is it needing a service? ;O)

OK,
We can eat at Dormy house or Desio at the club. Bigger tables at the club perhaps. We can get table for 8 in the golf but all geared up with round tables for 4 or 8.

Food - Alison, Bill, Shauna, Andrew, Margaret, Me, Scottie............. Table for 8 then.

Golf - Alison, Bill, me and Shauna.

Spa - Alison Shauna & Margaret(?)

Any more takers?
 
Yup, play golf but only as a shark! I don't play often but am usually off about 18.
Is there a game for the lads available?

Looking forward to another shot at the karts - I'll have lost a stone by then so will be much, much quicker!

If we get 2 or 4 golfers then £50 each.

If we get 6 then £34 each. We can get a tee time each for £100. We can play on any course.
