Got my S2 - YIPPEEEE!!

Thanks Rob for the ride down to Hemel and your advice. All went smoothly pretty much. The car does have an idle issue still which Andrew Churcher told me about but will sort that ;)

So, here's some pics from the day

I'm so pleased with the car, really nice drive and it pulls really well without any fuss. Looking forward to owning this one [:D]

Andy, Well done mate looks really, good glad you pleased you will be for a long time and the grin dosen't disappear.......... See you on the 27th at Rutland

Looks Great.......enjoy, i bet the sight of two red 944's got people looking, saw a grey 944 heading south on the M6 this afternoon 12 ish Kendal/Carnforth area.

Lovely sight to see two 944 lovelies on the road together [:)] As you two got to Rutland first, I presume you're getting the beers in. Mines an Old Speckled Hen please [;)]

Oooooh lovely! Definitely the fastest and best colour [;)] What's the interior like? And the idle issue? Mine needs some attention.

It was amazing how many positive looks and smiles we were getting. After 5 minutes from buying it I got a chap at the petrol station raving about how shiny it looked and a family in a Volvo with their faced pressed up against their windows!! As requested, here's the interior

As a famous fast food chain once said, 'I'm loving it' [:D]

Ahhh....great to see the car again! Great story. 2 lovely cars. It never failed to get attention. PS: Hairy arse the car is so shiny as i spent every mth waxing her up with raceglaze signature 55 wax. It is good stuff. That was after i meticulously touched in any paint chips i noticed after washing it. Yep....as my first Porsche I was a bit OCD with the cleaning and maintenance. [:D]

Best bit is when you're sitting at the lights next to the familymobile and its getting dark, pop up the lights and watch the kids faces!

Very Nice! One of the things I love about mine is the looks you get, and the appreciation from strange quaters. I had a Focus RS get all lairy behind me on the A421 on Friday, so I pulled over and let him pass, I then used him as a 'snowplough' to get through the traffic, I think he then realised my performance wasn't far short of his.....I got a nice wave as he pulled off the A1 later
