Aah, I assumed you'd be sacrificing tyre wear for ideal set-up. Where are you based (northwest?) and where did you have your geo done, please?
Very kind offer btw, I could be very tempted if diaries allow, thanks.
I am jct 21 m1 ish.
i had c of g do my car but as it was the 1st they had done I told them the spec I wanted.
they wanted to put more rear camber on than I wanted and I am very happy with how it turned out and stuck to my guns of less rear camber than most have.
I went from not really liking my gt4 to a transformation and can pull 1.5g on the road in the display
it's really planted for fast road use, -2.2 front neg camber, zero toe in at the front and -1.8 rear Camber.
As as you can see much lower than the above car which has far more track use.
mine is fast road use but I can do track days and it's still ok.
you don't want extra camber you don't use that's for sure. I see that a lot, ave joe wants a race drivers pro set up lol
that's why I asked for only -1.8 at the back, and I don't use all that.
what I do know is the car out drives me now, but rather than under steer, if I want to turn more I turn the wheel and it turns more, stock imo was shocking under steer when pushed. Which would tuck in with lift off, but why should one have to drive round it when we have a GT car with adjustable sus
a chalk test test is the way to find what you need , chalk the tyres and if you wear all the outters edge off you need more camber, this is how I choose a much lower than expected rear camber setting. I paired the chalk test with my pyro meter and came up with my setting, it's not perfect but it's hassle to change and what you would gain on track you would loose in brakes and traction on the road. I think it's not far off for top end fast road use as is.
As as I say you are welcome to try it, sooner than later as it may be gone soon.
