Heater Blower

Ian,

I have been led to believe that Design 911 now offer a refurb service. I've never asked them directly but it may be worth following up. Otherwise, like you, I only know of a place in Italy and Loren's outfit in the US.

Regards

Dave

I have just spoken to design 911, they dont have any facility to check and repair CCU's. They said they used to send them away to Italy which is very expensive.
The fan belt sensor is 57+vat + delivery, so think I will have a play with the old one first, or maybe get one from Prestige in Leeds.
If that doesn't work then it's time to find a replacement for the CCU.

Suppose I have the winter to get even more stressed about the whole thing, but then again, that means I get more time in the garage to admire my beauty and will be even more satisfied when she is ready for the open road....

Don't go jumping to conclusions that it's a CCU problem - I don't honestly think they fail that often. First thing to check is the 30 amp fuse in the rear fuse box.
