I'd have this if I wasn't so poor.....

Chaps,

I've started a new thread for people to register their interest in this. It's here:

https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=908945#908945

An identical thread has also been posted in the 968 section, and on the TiPEC forum. If someone could do the same with the Facebook Transaxle page (and invite me to that page!) then I'd be grateful.

Do we want to put a timescale on this? Putting it another way - how long do we want to leave the lists open for? A week? A month?

Also, what is the lead time on the rooves? How long between placing the order (and paying) and them being made and despatched?

Nice one.

They have a number in stock in the US where they are made. Lead time is between 4 weeks (if shipped specially from the US) and 2 months (if shipped from the US with other Pilkington products in usual container schedule) but it will be confirmed on order as this also depends on volume. I think end of February is a sensible timescale to know numbers by. ...how long does it take to make a decision like this, especially when loads of people have been after a Saratoga Top for years?!

I would agree, end of Feb as a cut off date. If it ends up being a 2 month lead time (worst case) that way we should have the for the start of the summer [8D]
