To tide me over I'll be buying a banger to run around in, the sort that has just enough of an MOT left to get me through till March or April.

Daily driver is either a Volvo 940 Estate or the 924S, unless it is good weather then one of the bikes tends to get out.
Who said you can have too many toys![]
Cheers,
ux was a failed clutch slave cylinder, soon sorted and I think now forgiven for relegation. We also have E911 MAC, a 911 Supersport Targa, pretty girl, recently on display at O.P.C. Kendal for the new Targa launch, we use this one for fun and Club activities.Until last week my daughter had exclusive use of our 924, but as some of you may know it was written off in an horrific rear end shunt. Thanks to the solidity of the construction of the 924 she escaped after being trapped in the wreckage for the best part of two hours reasonably unscathed.
Perm any one from three and you will find our cars at Club events throughout the year.
We now need another good 924 to replace the wrecked one any body got one the would like to part with .It will be used as a daily driver .

Have a BMW 320si for the weekly slog around (see attached) and the wife has a VW Polo Gti which is a great little car.
The Porsche is by far my favourite though......

I also have an Audi Ur quattro
Oh how I love that car! I'm infinately jealous but you can't use it as a substitute for the 44 its not really the same kind of car, you need both kinds of driving experience.
Ben
p.s. I buy all sorts of other cars but always end up back in a 944 I just love the whole package, I prefer the feeling, noise and experience of the early dash lux but it doesn't have the power to satisfy my thirst for speed.

Mine is an automatic and the engine size is only 1500cc but it is a fun little car to drive. Major project as the paint colour is goldand the interior brown. Looks very dated now so the interior is being changed to black (from a donor car bought for the purpose and the colour is being changed to Ford's Roman Bronze Metallic (lovely dark bronze colour, so dark the guy at the paint shop thought he had made a mistake with the mix).
First thing I did when I got the car was renew all the suspension as it was 'shot at', felt quite sea sick when I drove it home from Milton Keynes.
Cheers,
