Hi all [
]!
What a great evening we had yesterday [8D]! Lovely to meet you Steve' and, what a superb 964 RS you turned up in! Defo' floated
my boat [8D]! Great to meet old friends again (Tref and Dave Paul)and to make a new one in the form of Rob' from Worthing
with the lovely Red 944. It was a massive turn out and, such a shame I was driving the '44 Turbo coz', I really would of loved to
have stayed and got hammered with you guys [].
Here's the unbelievable bit. I walked into the pub only to be confronted by the Landlord who, looked vaguely familiar. "Is that a
Millwall Lion tattoo on your arm"? he enquired. I was expecting to be asked to leave, when he told me He was a Lions fan too!!
He then stuck a pint of Stella in front of me and said "On the house geezer"!! I was totally gob smacked! Until I recognised him
from the West Upper down at the Den [8D][]!! That really made my day/week/month! What a small World we live in!
I have been asked by Steve' to give him a hand with various bits and bobs in the region, not least, the organising of, wait for it,
Le Mans 2015 [8D]!! This is what I have been wanting to do since early 2013 so, what could I say but yes, of course I will [8D]!
All's well that end's well []. I apologise to the region for "throwing my toys out of the pram". as it were and, mistaking a very
laid back attitude and, casual internet presence, for rudeness. It won't happen again []. I am still going to attend a few London
(R20) events after all, I'm still after an invite to 'Tayabs' for the Christmas curry [8D][]!!
I hope we are all at Peace now. I think the best thing to happen to this thread would be to leave it on here for a few days so that
everyone can read my apology and then, the powers that be can delete it. I hope this is agreeable to you guys?
I will be starting a new thread in a few days about Le Mans 2015 and, putting forward my proposals and idea's. I will put up my
contact details and, wait for some responces to start trickling in (hopefully)[]. So, until next time.....[].
