ORIGINAL: clubsport Being the decent chap that he is, Carreraboy, kindly offered me the chance to drive the Gt3, the 140 miles back to Bromley.....I instantly refused, as interesting as it may be to drive, I will be in another car following, having belly laughs, just seeing Carreraboy at the wheel of his own kettle![:D]

Ok i'm quitting my Kettleboy kettle ribbing for now, its just too easy and funny[:D] Looks a lovely car Des. Try and take it on track though eh otherwise all your spouting on GT1 engine blocks, power to weight ratios, hand built by motorsport are all completely and utterly IRRELEVANT!!! I see your going to Oulton in March - surely a perfect outing to get the feel for it? I'll even split my day with you 50/50 if you PROMISE to actually take it out! Gauntlet laid. Are you racer or are you garage queen?????????????? [:D][:D][:D]

Pretty car for sure. Looks like a garage queen to me! Which is fine, there is room for both! What are you bring to Oulton Des - just a helmet?

There is not a single famous motorsport quote of any kind in history that includes, '...and that car looks magnificent in the owners garage. What a fantastic car cover!' or '...and look how that car stopped at those traffic lights. Magnificent braking!' [:D][:D][;)]

Please stop posting links like those Jason, as I fear I could start believing that Des will be proved to be right that they are indeed the future and that I need to start looking down the side of the sofa before I miss the boat. [] P.s. Is it me or does anyone else think that those seats in the second would be completely useless in a GT3? [&:]

Says A.M. Brosia on the V5.
Not someone I know. I was seriously tempted by a GT3 back in 2003. My son and I went to an evening meeting of Region 15 at Exeter OPC and there was a red V reg GT3 there which was for sale for about the same amount of money as a cheque I had in my pocket for the stock from the pharmacy I'd just sold. Mark spent most of the evening saying "go on Dad, give them the cheque" and I was tempted, but it was just too much to spend on a car. Even a Porsche.

I would guess that they are half price now ..... yes first owner was from exeter and then retailed by exeter opc centre to last owner ......
