I have now secured our plot for this event. Entrance Tickets are being posted to me this week. Details of where you can collect these from me will be e-mailed only to those that have indicated they will be attending.

I have now only 5 available places left so if you want to attend get back to me by phone or e-mail before 2nd August.

Looking forward to this show as quite a few of us from North Cumbria are travelling down on the Saturday to stay at the Wrightington Hotel & Country Club which is only a few miles away [:)]

David,

I presume you will also let us know about setting up camp & what kit we might need to bring like kettles ,gas stoves ,tables, etc

Colin, the event is just in the day time, you can't camp there. As above, those staying over are going to the Wrightington Hotel where, incidentally, I last attended for my first wedding reception [;)]

Rob
It was my inTention to go just for the day but I do like a brew now & again-so no kettle,no stove ,no brew! & I think I can probably manage to drive there & back in the day even without a spyder.

Thermos flask? [:)]

James,
Thanks for your support-Rob might be a fully qualified Coach driver & therefore used to vacuum flasks probably with a tartan printed outer case,& they are Ok for coffee, but proper tea needs boiling water & in a way, this event has replaced R18's Woodvale excursion this year, where we always had proper tea.
Will be great to meet you northern guys.

Dead right Rob--just a question of mind over matter--I don't mind & you don't matter[:D] ( don't really mean it ,matey!)

I shall be bringing gas stove, kettle etc. Don't forget to bring some water with you. If I have the electric coolbox with me I will bring some fresh milk.

I'll also be bringing a chair of some sort to rest my weary bones on.

Cheers,

ooh listen to the Naafi cackling on......

I shall be far too busy to drink tea or beer as i'll be throwing mud at Mike Totters car and collecting my prizes (cheers Fred)

I'd not bother if I were you as this is as near as dammit won.......allegedly[;)]

If you bring the electric cool box then sod the milk and get the beers in!

Coffee and beer in the same mug, you have a very strange taste in beverages there Rob.

Zeb,

I have some small brown vinyl stickers that when placed on white cars looks just like mud, you will have to use real mud for the other competition.

Weather forecast not looking too good at the moment. Fingers crossed on the day.

Cheers,

China cups? R18 covers t'north, not Belgravia.

And the event is in Wigan - a foil dish for your pie is posh there.

China cups please non of that bloody polystyrene "cups" business !

You wanna bring china me old china then you bring it - Just be advised that Mac does the washing up so you maybe taking home more pieces than you brung!

More tea Vicar, can I press you to a tart?

Cheers,

Cumbria posh if you ask me-never been the same since Tebay services opened with proper catering china cups-you need wide teeth to drink out of those[:)]

You can jest, but you gotta admit it the tea tastes way better in a proper cup, beer in a glass is ten times better than straight out of a tinnie !
You know i speak the truth [:D]
