Excellent, let us know where and when and I'll tie it in with a trip to Waitrose[:D]

Much better idea than the 3 hour round trip to the Dysart... [:(]

Right, deep breath..................Bob Lovelace rang me the other night to clarify some points and address concerns.

This a precis of the conversation:

The plan was to reduce the London Region to a more managable level of about 750 members as he felt that the region of 1200 as it stood was difficult to service at local level. This should enhance other areas and allow Johannes to deliver local area benefits.

Paul Kelley resigned as Regional Organiser some two years ago, but was prepared to look after the Region as caretaker. Johannes only stepped forward at the last minute. However, feedback from the questionaires has been excellent.

You can choose whichever area you wish to be in, for instance the Hants Member of the Year is from South Wales, but elected to be in the Hants & Wilts Region.

And remember, to quote from Bob's last PP Director's Report:

"Don't ask what the Club can do for you, but what you can do for the Club."

And please don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player!! [;)]

And that's the key, The region should be the "Central & Greater London" region and cater for us suburbanites (EN1) residence - I'm a Londoner through and through I wnat/will not be in this region and not Essex - nothing wrong with the Essex crew, but..............

Got a letter through this week - and I've been put into R21 - Chilterns

So, no Essix/Lahndarn argument then - they've sent me West.

regs

Neil in EN2

Still no letter, ...... must be something with they don't like about EN1?

The Chilterns? how did they work that out?

I don't think that I have ever received anything that was region specific.

So, it matters not which region I am in, it would seem. And I rarely turn up to the monthly meet anyway, so I will sit back and watch this space (figuratively).

Assuming, of course, that HQ knows which region I might/should be in.
