...yesterday, Santa's Grotto being the Porsche Centre in Swindon. Apologies for it being a bit grubby after the weather...

Lovely Mark. And will go even better than it looks too! I love the touches of colour inside - certainly brightens it up a lot. Are those illuminated sill guards, by any chance?![;)]
39 days to build date.........and counting![8D]

That looks absolutely fantastic.

I would love to know what you think of the steering wheel with paddle shifters for your PDK.

Take care of your new xmas pressy in all this snow!!

First, the wheel itself is great, quite thick, good to hold and my concerns about it being a bit bling were ill-founded. The polished metal part is not at shiny as it has appeared in some pictures. Then, the paddles have a very nice over-centre action, which means they are positive to use - the spring resistance increases up to a certain point and then decreases which makes them great to use. The back of the steering wheel is quite crowded - 4 stalks (if you have cruise) and two paddles but they are well spaced and there's no confusion. Overall, it's a big improvement on the first PDK buttons and I expect Porsche will be busy retro-fitting (assuming they offer it) paddles to earlier cars.

And, yes, I will be careful in the snow!

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the thoughts on your steering wheel, it sounds as good as we expected.

I do hope that Porsche offer a Paddle Wheel on Tequipment, as I might look at one for my Targa 4s Gen 2.

However, my concern is if they lose all the buttons that I currently have on my multifunction steering wheel, if they were not offered on an option steering wheel I would not go for it.

The reason is that I use the phone, volume and scroll button on almost every trip I take in my car, so would really miss them.

BYTW I hope that you will take some interior video shots of you using the PDK paddles in action soon!!

Thanks in advance.

Nige.

Lovely

Its on my santa list too

But don't think I'll get one somehow

Hope you have many enjoyable miles

Lovely colour combination of the almost electric-looking Aqua Blue with the Natural Grey Leather inside - I personally think Stone Grey is too light. But I think that if you're going to have illuminated sills, you should go all the way and have neon underneath and a nice big furry dice!

They're on order, had trouble deciding between fluorescent yellow or shocking pink... LOL [;)]

[8D] Very nice...stunning blue and as said by Alan some nice interior details..

Can you order another set of furry dice [;)] I have the iluminated sills and still love them- I did worry it may seem a bit bling at first but I don't think they are at all...

Hi Mark,
Hope you don't mind but I've just hijacked your turbo phot as my screen saver (well I'm getting bored with black, and blue holds a better shine as clearly demonstrated). You just wouldn't want to be on our Lincs roads with the rock salt bricks being thrown about by the gritters doing 55mph at the moment.

Best bet, wait for the spring get across to southern Germany and let that beaut fly on the autobahns and around some Black forest hills or ......... join Gary on a 997 peaks drive!

Paul

No problem, I can let you have the full resolution one if you wish! [For photographers among you, taken with a Nikon D3 and their 24-70mm f2.8 lens].

Certainly take your point about gritting lorries, and Germany!
