Lunch out Nov 14th

Another blast through the Dales & up to Alston area will be fun. Just have to wait for the light evenings to arrive again [:D]

David, I don't think we met formally, but I was a bit worried your car might not clear some of the roads with it being so low [;)][:D]

Just wanted to add my thanks also to Wayne & James for an absolute perfect day out.
This is what these cars are really for Driving !!, Cant wait for the next one.

Nice of you to think about it, I was a bit worried about it too. However I only touched with the front spoiler ever so slightly once. Probably helped that we were flying much of the time!

it would have been even better if half of the mob hadn't gone home early (or got lost) as there were some great roads up to Alston and Penrith

There was more to the journey? . I turned right onto the dual carriageway and back towards Scotch Corner then headed south home. I followed Ian Gilmour until I needed a toilet break ( too much cola!). I wondered as to why I didnt see anyone else on the way home [&:]

You should have stuck with us air cooled guys instead of following Ian! (If you were behind James you'd have been following him home), Five 911's stuck with Wayne for the interesting part of the drive, we lost you and the Boxsters (their maps must have blown away with the tops down)
You went straight down the A66, we took the 1st turn to Barnard Castle and did another 50 miles across country, had another cafe stop, and then went home from Penrith.
Next time we'll have to let Wayne go in front as he knew the way

....five 911's stuck with wayne........ At one point it was difficult to tell the clouds were so dense!! Or were they just miles behind [;)] (i couldn't possibly say) and the only air cooling i had was having the roof down[]

What about a repeat performance this week - would be different with a dusting of snow to test the PSM!

This must be a record thread for an outing - good old region 7.[:D]

Yes, I think we'll be doing a masham, buttertubs, hawes, settle loop sort of jaunt this Sunday. PSM[:'(] ...have you no shame.
