Not that close if you are 'implying' in the other thread on yet another Alzen car up for sale with the 91 VIN plate and Wagenpass are actually from your car?

Does your car have a visible shell number stamped on it that proves all this now then?

More smoke and mirrors and vague forum replies than The Vague House of Smoke and Mirrors!!!! [:D][:D][:D][:D]

Come on Des, just say what you know for certain and have actual proof of from your car or stop stringing every thread along forever and ever by repeating nothing at all....[:D][:D][:D]

Time to put this to bed before everyone dies of boredom and stops caring anymore[;)]

Jason, I am not obviously going to reveal sensitive info here on a open Forum, other than those in the public Domain already. I would consider you a very intelligent person with other users here. Make up your own mind. At the end of the day, to repeat myself, I am very happy with my car from Day 1. Happy with the Alzen VIN, the car is exactly what it is, yes there is a shell number, and the car is a M700 CUP 1991. Reworked by the actual race team from their original Maritime Race Car, who have had another use for the Porsche VIN. Make your own mind up where it is now. I am sure everything is legal and above board.

My single handed quest has met with some resistance, but with a good man in my camp, I now feel I have closure as to my real parents, with a modified birth certificate. Yes closure for me. And dare I say a Happy Ending. I have nothing to prove now to anyone the story is complete.

THE END

That is good news.

Can you not get the VIN back then if the Alzen team used it elsewhere?

That's a shame but great you have had it all verified.

Now leave it alone and stop thinking of sticking standard bonnets on it - WIDEBODIES & BIG WINGS RULE!

Not had any emails or missed calls to my knowledge. Are you using the correct email? 964rsdatabase@googlemail.com If you are using the NTLworld email, it is defunkt. Feel free to give me a call (again). [;)]

I replied to the latest New Year message to database members .... will give you a call Martin presume still the same Mobile?

Yes Martin, all above board I'm sure and legal in this case as it was all in house at Alzen, but essential you have the true picture for prosperity for all.

Colombo driving the white car #12 in the 1989 Porsche turbo Cup, having a huge crash at the (I think) Norisring.
is this the same V. Colombo from Italy?
incredible how hard he hit the barriers head on at the lang straight at high speed, beinig catapulted back into the barriers to the other side of the circuit and just stepping out of the car

I think this part can be found somewhere on You tube

regards

Hgo

Hi Hans. It is the same Vittorio Colombo. I've seen the video - and it was bad crash.

When do you you pick up the car?[:)]

PS. Someone swears blind it is the 1990 Manthey car, have you given up on that one?
