Melv Hits The Highlands!!!

Home again.......

Drove Knockhill on Friday (22nd) -steering failed and crossed over track into oncoming traffic...[&:][][:-]

OK so, it was on the kart track -but shook up a little never the less!!! Found these karts really weird, so did my son -all understeer and could only kick the back out under braking....[:D] Still, he managed a 33 second lap against my best of 35 but convinced my replacement kart under powered!!!

At last had chance to view the entire Sturrock Cup Car collection -v. impressive!!

Missed out Edinburgh, but walked part of Loch Leven, visited Falkirk Wheel -must be one of the seven wonders of Scotland...[;)], then onto North Berwick where THE SUN SHONE!! Lovely morning on the beach near Muir and then a walk around Lindisfarne Castle on way back thru Northumberland. Next time, I must do this trip in a decent car or bike!! Some luvverley roads!!!
