Midland Breakfast with the 997 3rd Feb

always hard to guess numbers when you move to a new venue!
I rung up Cosford on Friday and told them we'd be having between 50-60 cars (look at Forum responses!) That turned into 125 cars!! Thank god it was windy and cold else they'd have been well over run!

There is another cafe inside the Cold War museum and we went in there to grab some cake and a hot choclolate and we didn't have to queue at all!

Coxy, don't worry about the Cafe, more of a laugh after our owns clubs catering fiasco at Ragley [] (apart from that I got a Bacon Bap and tea anyway [:D])
I saw the other cafe(in the Cold war museum)- as did a pair of GT3 owners... tucking into Chocolate and tea if I remember correctly (only as I fancied the same[;)])

Many thanks to Gary and Coxy for arranging things. It was great to meet a few other members of PCGB and to see such a turnout on a cold, windy day. Rather appropriate that we were sited next to the COLD War display! It was a long run home for me - it took about 12 minutes to cover the 7 miles (and I was home just before the girls returned from riding).

The car is even more muddy now and I can hear the workers digging up the drive again, so I am confined to home for a few hours and will have to suffer a muddy car for a few more months - they seem to be the slowest builders know to man!

Anyway, thanks again for the event and I look forward to attending a few more (PCGB & Breakast Club) events in 2008
