Porsche Silverstone driver experience centre 23rd May 2010

For us modern owners, this is our major club event for 2010.

Instead of a windswept Gaydon( parked on the grass!!) we'll be at the modern Porsche training centre at Silverstone.
Its taking place on the 23rd May 2010 and places will be somewhat limited by the size of the venue itself.

Hopefully we can get a great display and line up of cars at this event.

Details are slowly filtering through from the main organising group and we will update as and when we have the information.
However get the date in your diaries [:D]

Being as this is taking place on a Sunday, we are currently looking at adding that special 997 register feel to the Saturday with hopefully a drive and dine.- more details to follow.

996/Boxster on I believe but older cars were welcome this year (2009), indeed we might have to take our '69 to the 2010 event...

Modern is classed as 996, 997, Boxster, Cayman, Cayenne and Panamera

I believe 993 comes under the heading of middle years- so Kirtlington is the main event for those...

Full details are/will be in Porsche Post..

Hi Gary,
Would you expect some use of the Silverstone Race Circuit for demonstration drives etc. accepting that the facilities and parking space are very limited at the Driving Experience Centre on 23rd May.

Regards,

John
