Modified cars.

I don't think M030 was available for the 220T as much of it was derived for the Cup Cars. I am assuming it would be Silver Rose Turbos onwards. I am also unsure if M030 included the brakes on the S2 as I seem to recall they weren't on the 968. I would have to check Porsche PET to be sure.

Wot John said [:)]

The medium blacks simply didnt exist when the 220 cars were out and all the S2's with 'sports suspension' that I have seen have the M474 Koni shocks and not the full M030 package.

I'm happy to be wrong about the S2 as there were very few made with sports suspension and I've never seen any with medium blacks from the factory.

M030 did include the "medium black" brakes on the S2 though I'm not sure it was available before 1990 - a friend had one (1990) which he had bought in Luxembourg. I saw one last year in Germany (1991) which had the same suspension and brakes.
I believe M474 on the S2 was the only "sporty" equipment available for 1989 and replaced with M030 the following year.

M030 was the only "sporty" equipment on the 968 and he also included the "medium black" calipers.

The M030 Caliper is a Porsche Motorsport Item, (has some more robust internals i think) The rest of the calipers big reds/blacks etc are Porsche road items. I think the GT3 6pot calipers were the next set of calipers to go on a road car to come from porsche motorsport.

Medium blacks are better than Big Blacks then.... [;)] [:D][:D][:D] - I knew I was right to sell those Big Blacks to John Sims
