Yep, for someone who has vast cash reserves, Russian Oligarch's, Wealthy and Nostalgic germans, Saudi princes etc 25 grand is spare change, it is just down to whether one of them wants a RHD 944 Turbo cab, suspect it is all about 100 plus grand 911's, Ferrari's and other exotica at that level though, I do know a chap who has the new McLaren and his first proper car as he put it, back in 1990 was a red 944 S2 Cab as he was getting misty eyed over mine when he saw it, despite a long and distinguished line of supercars his wife still had the fondest memories for his 944 that he had when she first me him so, suppose someone like that might make an offer for a nice one as a birthday present for his wife as to be fair I dont think she would crib that his was an S2 and this was a turbo.

Oligarchs?!?!? Millions of people in this country spend £25,000 or more on a car every year. Hundreds of thousands of people in this country spend £25K or more on a not-strictly-needed second car every year. £25K is the price of a basic-spec no-options 3-door Golf GTI. It is a full five grand less than the price of the most basic new BMW Z4, with no options. It's only a couple of thousand more than an MX-5 with a few options on it, and they sell in their droves. It's the price of one of those deeply unfortunate Mini Roadsters in 211 bhp JCW form. And all of those will depreciate like burning buildings, in six years they will be down to £6-8K
Yeah, but those are by and large bought on lease plans by average punters to use every day and they have a 13 plate on. My comment was with reference to the possibility of it going abroad really.
That car is lovely but its niche within a niche, cant really compare it to a Mini, the average 21 year old girl isnt going to look twice at an "old" car.

My 19 and 22 year old daughters will. But they have been properly instructed about the owners too [
