"Even the 993RS seems a bit too easy to drive in comparison, with lighter controls and a little more refinement" Can't help but agree Dom. Had an oppurtunity to drive one a couple of years ago. Whilst I felt instantly at home and comfortable to give it some beans, I also felt I cld put girlfriend in pax seat, load up overnight case, drive to France for a track day, stay overnight in a chateaux hotel and drive back the following day, with the greatest of ease!!

Could not agree more. About a year ago, I had the cash to buy a 993RS. I test drove 3 of them (all of which
were from H&S--i.e., very nice). In all cases, I disliked the inertia of the flywheel, their power steering and their
more comfortable ride, in this order. After some more testing, it looked as if I had been wasting time with this
trip to Germany. Then, Tom Schmidt directed me towards a developed 964RS. Suddenly, driving was exciting
again, and I ended up changing my red 964RS with another, more developed, black 964RS...
If you are selling a 964RS, get the prospective buyer to try a 993RS, or a GT3 beforehand []
